Dear KIDS Alumni,
Well, the 40th KIDS reunion is fast approaching – less than four months away, and now it’s finally time to take reservations. We’ve planned several activities for you to be able to reconnect with all your friends from your days in KIDS.
This year, besides singing the National Anthem at the Brewers game, KIDS Producer, Mark Dorn, has programmed Prayer for Peace as part of the 2008 show and invites former chorus members to perform this beautiful piece of music with the current troupe.
The festivities will begin on Saturday, August 9th at Pius XI High School where rehearsal will take place. All alumni are invited to sing the National Anthem prior to the first pitch of the Brewers versus the Washington Nationals game. There is also still time to let us know if you’d like to participate in the reunion band.
Enclosed is a list of the various options available for the weekend events on Saturday and Sunday. For your convenience, you may register online or by mail.
An "early bird" discount will apply to reservations received by Friday, June 6th. We ask that all reservations be received no later than Monday, June 30th. Final event information and sheet music will be sent in July.
I’m sure many of you have stayed in touch throughout the years with people who were in the troupe with you. I’d like to ask each of you to contact these friends and encourage them to attend. I promise you’ll have a great time! Also, another reminder to send us information you might have on people from the missing KIDS list. If you haven’t done so already, please fill out your “alumni information form” on the KIDS website. We’d like to hear from all of you, even if you can’t join us for the reunion.
